Football is another good one.
No matter what type of football you decide to play (soccer or American football), there are some certain skills you need to do well and master. And obviously with a Soccer or Football you need to master the skill of kicking with your foot to become decent at the sport.
In football/soccer there are a number of different demands or rerquirements, from passing the ball to a teammate who is a few feet away to a high power swerving kick for goal from 20-90 metres out.
The important thing to remember is you will get different levels of accuracy, power and height depending on which part of the foot you use, which part of the ball you kick or whether your knee is behind the ball or over it. It sounds really hard, but it's not, it just comes down to practice and repetition. After the hard work should pay off!
Practice with your friends or practice kicking to a wall. Once you have done this for a period of time, you will find quickly what works for you...

Basketball Is one of the best
Everywhere you go throughout the world no matter how rich or poor the country is, you will find tons of people who love the game of basketball. You should definitely know basic basketball skills before even trying to play for a team. If you do decide to take this sport, and you master even the basics, you'll be able to play at least passing well (which is the main part of b-ball)
The following few basic skills can get you started in the game:
1. Boxing Out: when you do this, one player is between a player from the opposing team and the basket. If you want to rebound the ball in the basket and get the point, this is the position. You will stand here and recover a missed shot that bounces backwards.
2. Dribbling: this is the very basic and essential skill of bouncing the ball on the ground and running with it. You use your fingertips to bounce the ball on the ground and back up into your hand.
You have to do this so that you can move legally with the ball. If you hold the ball instead and run more than a few steps this is against the rules. Instead, dribble the ball as you run and you are fine.
